Introducing Milo Duval - cellist for Tchaikovsky's Variations on a rococo theme.

Talented Queensland local cellist Milo Duval will be our soloist at our first Concert for 2026 "Romance and Fate", 2pm Sunday 29th March at The Events Centre Caloundra.

Milo has quite the CV and we look forward to showcasing his talent to a new audience on the Sunshine Coast! He's currently a student of Hyung Suk Bae and Gyorgi Deri at the Queensland Conservatorium, but is already a celebrated solo performer with success at the 2024/25 London International Music Competitions, and several performance prize wins in Queensland.

Milo was selected as the QSO Academy cellist for 2026 and regularly performs with QSO whilst completing his studies.

Don't miss out on hearing this extraordinary young performer!

We'd like to acknowledge Julia Janiszewski's dedication in preparing for this performance with SCSO. Due to unforeseen health challenges she's unable to perform with us at the Romance and Fate concert. We wish Julia a speedy recovery and look forward to performing with her again later in the year.
