If you're a lover of dance then our concert on 13th June "The ballroom to the dance floor" will sweep you away as we take our audience through the fascinating social history of dance music via beloved orchestral dance works. (Spoiler alert it's mostly a history of dancers finding ways to get closer to one another!)
And for a truly special event we'll premiere the "Sunshine Coast Symphony" by our own Cliff Bradley at our concert on September 17th, "Symphonic Horizons". This beautiful work paints musical portraits of the iconic landscapes of the Sunshine Coast and we know it will become a piece we all treasure. The concert also features music that captures the essence of places real and imagined - Scheherazade, Fingal's Cave, Hoedown, Spirited Away, and more.
