After an incredible response to our performance at yesterday's concert Romance and Fate, we're excited to let you all know what's coming next...
"The Ballroom to the Dance Floor" will be a whirlwind tour through the music and dance movements of the last 400 years, and the changing voice of the orchestra as the world continually shifts around it.
It's going to be a rollicking ride through courtly baroque dance, the grand ages of ballet and ballroom dancing, swing and dance hall music, sultry and energetic Latin dances, folk dances, and finally ... some disco courtesy of ABBA!
This will be a concert full of beauty, energy and a few surprises - perfect for music and dance lovers of all ages.
We'll also be bringing back "Posh Karaoke" and inviting you all to join singer Kate Leiper for ABBA's "Dancing Queen", with the orchestra providing your backing track. Glow sticks are provided at the door. Don't miss out!
