The silly season is almost here, and although it's always a lot of fun it can be difficult to find time to catch up with friends properly once the Christmas parties start in earnest.
We have the perfect solution - Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra's "Summer serenades" concert!
Get together with friends and family to share a wonderful night of fine food, wine on the terrace and beautiful music at The Events Centre Caloundra.
The program (just like Queensland this time of year) is full of excitement, beauty and a little drama. Sultry nights are evoked with Gershwin's Summertime and Debussy's Clair de Lune, and the Italians are bringing the party with Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien and Repighi's gorgeous Antiche Danza. Drama? How about the Dance Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah by Saint-Saens and a Beethovian storm scene?
