"Go somewhere different" this October - SCSO at the 2026 Rangebow Festival.
We've been performing at the Rangebow Festival since its inception and we're always excited to take part in their innovative programming!
This year SCSO Chamber players will perform a concert of Baroque music at the gorgeous Montvale Distillery in Montville. "The Chapel of Love - Baroque Botanica" will be an intimate evening concert of works by Bach, Handel, Telemann, Vivaldi, and Pachelbel with solo works for oboe, cello and viola. Montvale Distillery's hand built hardwood and glass chapel will be lit by fairy lights so the audience can experience the fabulous backlit rainforest surrounds, and a signature cocktail has been created for the event.
We'll also share some interesting and surprising stories about the lives of the "rock-star" composers of the Baroque period - spoiler alert, they're every bit as messy as modern superstars!
Tickets are available via the Rangebow website, with two shows at 6pm and 8pm Saturday 17th October, Montvale Gin Distillery.
